Cone Nebula, NGC2264
Cone Nebula is an emission Nebula in the constellation of Monoceros. It is 2,600 light years away from our Earth. The Cone nebula is the nebulasity surronding Christmas Tree Cluster. It is a relatively faint nebula. It is popular photograph target in Japan. Cone Nebula was discovered by Wiliam Hershel in 1785.
