The Pleiades, M45
The Pleiades is a one of the famous star cluster in Night Sky. It is located in the constellation of Taurus. It is also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45. It is indeed a conspisuous object in the night sky.
The cluster contains hundres of stars. Some of these stars are visible to the unaided eye. The stars in the cluster are thought to have formed together around one hundred years ago. They also lie some 425 light years away.
