Southern Cross
This is a picture of Crux that I took in Lake Tekapo in New Zealand. Crux is well know as the "Southern Cross". In Japan, many people believe that Crus consite of just one star because Southern Cross is commonly called "A Southen Cross Star" in Japan.
I went to Lake Tekapo in New Zealand to take this picture. It was my first time to visit the coutry. Lake Tekapo was beautiful, but the weather there was unpredictable. It was hard to concentrate on takking pictures of night sky, unfortunately.
